Orion Repair Manual

Post by Hank106 »

Is there a manual available for typical repairs the Orion requires? Even just an assembly manual would be helpful for disassembling to fix something.

That's the user's manual Eagle, not an assembly manual.

Since there isn't a repair manual, would it be possible to put together a post describing the differences between the Orion and the Max V3? It doesn't need excruciating detail, just notes on how they are similar and different. They both use Rambos, but are the extruder and the hot-end the same? If not, what are they called so we can look up the specs and details ourselves. That sort of thing.

They'll both have the same control board, steppers, extruder, carriages, etc. The main difference right now (aside from the build volume), and one that I'm sure will be updated soon, is the accelerometer board and the new hotend. An Orion today does not have those parts, as far as I know. Aside from the HE280 assembly, they're pretty much the same machine in two different sizes. There are some assembly and cosmetic differences, but they have almost identical component and feature lists.
