I have printed several hollow cylinders about 3/4 inch dia and 1 and 1/2 inch high. the completed print looks good in
every aspect but there is a very slight lean to the vertical axis (like the leaning tower of pisa). can anyone comment of the possible cause and solution
to this issue.

Check that your u-joints aren't binding or sticking anywhere in their travel. Give them a drop of oil and move them around by hand to make sure that there aren't any tight spots.

Examine the part and try to determine if the bottom yayer is crooked r the whole thing.
Is it crooked upside down?

To determine if your bed is crooked or the arms are printing crooked.
