Hello All,
Home Tower got weird. The last few days I have been having very good success with printing my SolidWorks models, saved as STL’s and imported into Repetier-Host. This morning I had an very good print and shut down for lunch. Later I turned on the computer and printer. When I tried to home towers the cheapskates just go lower about 1 CM. The continuity of the top limit switches are all three broken if I push them manually.
Trying to HOME from the Orion alone or when connected to the computer it has the same problem. G28 does the same 1CC lower. However all of the manual XYX arrow controls on the Repetier-Host work perfectly. I can also run it up and down from the Orion front panel.
From any position it will only move DOWN instead of going up and homing.
I switched the Orion SD chip with an identical copy and still no help.
I’m stuck…
Steve

Re: Tower Homing got Weird
Go through the Z-height calibration process again and see if that resolves the issue.

Or at the very least check the zheight in the EEPROM and make sure it is a positive number.
On the Orion I believe that homing has to work to calibrate Z height but I may be wrong.
