how to increase the max hot end temp

Hi
i have installed E3D and i don't know where to start to increase the temp limit on the hot end. searched for a guide with no luck.
can i change it from EEPROM configuration in repetier host?

There is a max temp setting in the configuration.h of your firmware which you would need to increase then upload the firmware to the
Rambo board using Arduino.

ok
is there something i need to do before that? backup? or simply modify the maxtemp value then upload?

You should just modify the setting in configuration.h then upload. Make sure that the maxtemp value you are changing
is for the extruder.

what layer fan mount you guys recommend with this mount http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:137140" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; from 626Pilot
the stock one is lower than the nozzle now.

That is one of the problems with going to the E3D and I don't know if anyone ever created a layer fan that works without
sticking out so far it could risk banging on the uprights. If anyone knows what works best as a layer fan after installing
an E3D please step in and let us know.
