Printing large print.

Post by printer999 »

Hey Guys I am thinking about doing my first very long and large print. It would take over 24 hours and require at least $8 for part of it. I was looking at it however before I got to printing and wasnt sure about the size. Is this too big to print off on a orion?

well if you put it vertical I think it is just a little too large.

True. However you really have to watch the height. The Orion will not stop once it hits the limit switchs and will try and drive through the top. Big mess. You can half the model and glue it.

I would make the body separate them make the pipes slide on similar to pvc piping, and make the middle support overlap and bolt together to hold into place.
