Post by barry99705 »

Upgraded the enclosure to separate the electronics from the build chamber.

I wonder how the extruder will do inside the chamber

It's been in there for over a year with no issues. The mount is printed in abs. I only print in petg, and the few times I've printed in pla it's been fine as well.

Glad to hear it. My enclosure is heated so I moved the extruder outside of the enclosure.

So far I've not really needed to add a heater. Depending on print time, it hovers around 80F inside.

Looks great, do you have instructions on how to build one? Thanks

Not really. I took the dxf files for the printer and cut along the outside of the base for the hole. Then I just cut is square to fit the enclosure I already had.
