Picture this: Your uncle who likes to drink beer in a two-car garage crammed full of mills, lathes, and bins full of transducers and BUNA-N O-rings, while milling steel, tearing down and scrutinizing tools from Harbor Fright and DeWilt and explaining every last thing from the plastic it's sheathed in to the functioning of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric motors, cobbling together weird machines, and cussing while talking amicably about life. That's basically what goes on. His day job is doing mechanical engineering for governments and companies around the world. When he comes home, we get to watch him mess around in his workshop. As of today, he's got 587K subscribers.
I have to warn you. These videos are addictive. If you click one, your whole weekend could be shot. Also, he says things like "That's the **** for Dolly" pretty much all the time.

Not to mention his current enjoyment of breaking snap-off tools with said hydraulic torque wrench, to compare them to chinese ones. It really is a great channel. This Old Tony is another fun one for learning machining and seeing sometimes crazy solutions, including his recent rebuilding of a unregulated DC supply for stepper motors.
