Cura 4.5 Profiles

Post by PartDaddy »

Very happy with the performance of the new version of Cura 4.5 and we've been busy updating new github.com/seemecnc slicing profiles this week.

They fixed the single hotend multiple extruders in this release. Very happy with the performance too.

https://github.com/seemecnc/slicing-profiles

We categorize our slicing profiles by hotend type, then slicer, then slicer version. :ugeek:

Thanks! Can you also update the END GCODES? I think something's off. I got a RTP V4 and whenever i use Cura, I get a large retraction when the print ends. It retracts to the point where it separates from the hot end. So i have to manually feed it back close enough where i can run the Load Filament Macros again.
Or i can just copy and paste the Cura Single Extrusion Guide end gcode.

Here's the current gcode in the V4 files.

G1 E-3 F2000

G1 E-155 F5000 <---- i think that's the culprit! I haven't tried, yet.

The line you identified is there to back the filament out of the Y splitter on dual-extrusion machines. You can comment it out by sticking a ";" in front of it.

Any of the HE280 profiles should work for the E3D v6.
