Loose arm upgrade

Post by jesse »

My Rostock v1 arms are pretty loose. They've been used for about 50 total days of printing.

Is there an upgrade/replacement kit to get rid of the slack?

I used rubber bands on mine. I use a pair for each set of arms, and have them placed right where the truss structure on the arm meets the U.

the rubber bands may help a little bit, but not much since the joints are not spherical rod ends.

The Carbon Fiber Tube Arms from Trick Laser will solve the problem...
