Undersized Prints

Post by Thinker »

I'm having a bit of issue with getting a 20x20x10 calibration cube with .5mm walls to print at the correct size. When printed(in abs) it is more like 15.2x 15.2x7.7 with 1mm walls I've tried slicing it in Slic3r and Cura with about the same result so I'm guessing it's not the slicer. Cura is also reporting that the cube is the correct size.

I recently upgraded my arms to the Trick Laser arms and changed my firmware to Repetier. In hind site I probably shouldn't have done them at the same time. Prior to the changes I was getting much more accurate prints. I've made a couple parameter changes to the firmware:

inverted the extruder direction(wired it backwards during the assembly  )
changed the PULLEY_TEETH to 15 ( I have the metal pulleys)

I thought I would have to change the AXIS_STEPS_PER_MM from 80 to 106.666(from the Marlin firmware) but that didn't help things at all. It was way off and tried to crash the hot end into the bed so I changed it back. If someone has any idea on what I'm missing or need to check, I would be most appreciative!
