Enlighten me on the H-1.1

Post by tom10122 »

I want to print out some parts to upgrade my h-1, what exactly is the x-bearing asseblies like. Can I print out the bearings for it? It looks to me like theres one linear bearing and brass bearings like the H-1.

I'd like to do this too. I think the CAD files are posted by SeeMeCNC here: http://seemecnc.org/download/H1-1/

I havn't had time to look at them yet. Let me know if you think they could be printed. The upgrade kit sold by SeeMeCNC is already so cheap I'm not sure its worth the effort.

Another option that looks interesting is this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:17760

I think linear bearings would increase my print quality.

I have DIY'd crappy bearings since I was too cheap for metal bearings , they helped alot but I feel like they are about to fall off, they probaly could be printed , but with support to help bridging
