Multiple entries allowed? I'm not a graphic designer (some in my family are though, so I may have it in my blood!), but I have a few ideas and am willing to give it a shot, just for the heck of it...

Edit: also, what will the logo be used for? I assume it will not be on the machine (looks to me like you've got lettering already). Just wanting to know more what you are looking for :D I've got half of something done already, I'll keep working on it!

It would end up on the machine, as well as any other web stuff, flyers etc... Multiple entries allowed, sure!

Lol then where I was going wouldn't look very good on the machine (time for plan B!)

Here's what I had so far, if you want I can try adding the delta arms/extruder and dispenser in and you could use it in flyers, etc. It just wouldn't look good on the machine! :D I guess it's more of a digital representation than a logo...

Either way, I find it fun to mess around in illustrator... good practice for when I'm really gonna need to use it!

Needs some adjustment but this is my idea...A constellation / robot with delta arms at the end making the tail of Bellatrix.

Binky, you misspelled the name. Your logo should have said Onion. LOL It's better than mine though...

Yes what are the dates we can submit? *poke* Traveling lots around the next week or so but I have time afterwards so if I could submit after... that would be great.

Here's my submission!

If the prize isn't an actual Orion printer (we're all still hoping!), how about a complete dual-EZStruder setup and two of those new experimental nozzles as the prize?

Jim, two things:

1. You ripped off my robot! LOL
2. Thanks for low-balling us into not getting an Orion!!!

But great design nonetheless!!!

It's hard not to think of the Constellation Orion... I guess we could be using Metallica album artwork, but we'd be more likely to get sued for that :)

A flat packed assemble it yourself Orion wouldn't be a bad deal.

Pm me more details about your idea, and I'll help you draw it. You want Orion to be printing himself?

Thanks- personal favorite of mine actually. Raleway Light I believe, if you want to know. :geek: Works for a ton of stuff design-wise.

Edit: added a thin font and a medium bold font just for the heck of it. Might work on another idea tomorrow, maybe not.

What if you carried the triangle motif into the first "O" as well? I think it would bring more consistency to the word. As it is now, the second "O" is read as an "A".

Yeah I noticed it read more as an A than an O but I'm not sure if I could lessen it with some design. Here ya go:

If the top of the triangle is a flat part, it makes it more likely to read as an O than an A.
