Is this a build zone, or question zone?

Post by cassetti »

Getting a little confused as to the purpose of this sub-forum with all these recent off-topic threads....

Yes, there is a lot of cross posting, etc. This occurs as forums evolve. These really need to be reorganized and "flattened" in my opinion.

I'm going to keep bumping this as a constant reminder.

People, post your questions in the appropriate forums. The description of this Build Zone forums is: "Start your own build thread so others can see how it's going, and even help out!" - Build Thread. Not Question threads.

If you have a question, please post it in the appropriate area

Are you saying not to ask questions regarding your build in your build thread??

You can go ahead and post questions on your personal build thread. But don't start new threads in the build zone for every little question you have.

This build zone is for you to post your build, and comment/question on your progress. If you have a question you feel is important/urgent enough for it's own thread, feel free to post in the troubleshooting or Rostock Max forums.

Did you just ask a question in the build zone regarding asking questions in the build zone? It makes my head spin.
Purple = sarcasm

Please do a board search before posting your question, many have been answered with very time consuming detail already.

And you just asked a question about asking a question in the build zone regarding asking questions in the build zone.
Now you have my head spinning! (I need to lay down, I have vertigo)
Seriously, he has a point. I have been guilty of doing the same thing that he is talking about. The build zone should have only builds, the other
questions, comments etc that have nothing to do with the posted builds belong in the Rostock subforum or troubleshooting. The build zone has
now been filled with so much stuff that it is hard to find the builds. I apologize for doing this and I hope all of our members will take this to heart
and help to keep this board orderly.
