Skull Prints

Post by PartDaddy »

Skull Thingiverse 4378 "wfu_cbi_skull-hollow.stl"
I used some business cards and tape after a few layers to support the front and rear portions.

This setup is for 3mm filament !!

PartDaddy Machine:
Stock H-1 printer with:
ball bearings
3mm hot end
approx 425 degree F extruder average temperature setting
cold bed using partial blue tape on 1/4" thick acrylic
3axis control board with 4th axis easydriver
mach3

Slic3r 0.7.1
skull_3mm_Filament_015_nozzle.ini
Skull Slic3r H-1 Config file

Pictures:
This first print at over 2200mm/min was too fast for 3mm to keep up with melting. I could've turned up the temperature, but wanted to keep settings consistent, and adjust Slic3r only.
