Finally, Gyro Cube
Well, i have been wanting to print this gyro cube for some time. did it the other day finally,
came out great, there is no cleanup as you see,
took 11 hours, scaled to 100mm high
.25 layers
30mm sec speed
2 loops
20% infill
PLA ( justpla.com )
205 nozzle temp
60 bed temp
& hair spray works well for me.

Very nice. Is is it ABA or PLA and what nozzle temp?
Also what did you use to keep it suck to the bed? Hair spray?
thanks
Keep up the good work.

Re: Finally, Gyro Cube
That is one of the best I have seen!
I will have to try that on my Orion but I doubt I could match the quality of yours.

Re: Finally, Gyro Cube
User MHackney came up with the printing of PLA on regular copier or printer paper lightly adhered to the glass with spray adhesive. The PLA really sticks to the paper.Print_This wrote:hi sorry for leaving out those details.columbia_u2 wrote:Very nice. Is is it ABA or PLA and what nozzle temp?

Re: Finally, Gyro Cube
I agree with every nice thing that was said about this. Salute.
Me: That's a cool DubStep. I really like the drop. But could you turn it down a little?
Son: That's the refrigerator Dad.
And that is why I will never buy HotPoint again!

Re: Finally, Gyro Cube
yea read about the paper etc. nice, i have been pretty content using the hairspray seems to work well enough for me as far as holding parts down and still easy to clean up etc. have to try out that method sometime for sure.Eaglezsoar wrote:User MHackney came up with the printing of PLA on regular copier or printer paper lightly adhered to the glass with spray adhesive.
