Hi there.
Its me again after a while.
A new horn speaker is created, it is the mid sized version of a bunch that will come to the market over the next time.
Some informations for us makers.
Each horn has two parts, the sound guiding and the cover for the backs side.
One horn has a weight of PLA of 3kg in total.
Print time 80h per horn.
1mm nozzle Size, 0,35mm layer height, 4mm hull thickness, fan cooled stepper motor for bigger Performance of the Material feeder.
It is created to reproduce a range from 1.6khz up to 30khz depends on the driver which will be used. Its name is " Elysio HT16 - 7040 "
The purpose of this horn is to become implemented into a huge horn like a western electric we66, we15, Sato, etc....
The main characteristic is a very constant coverage over a area of 70°x 40°, which is perfect for a common room to avoid to much reflections over the walls, the tonality depends on the used driver.
The horn is constructed to have a minimal loss of pressure over the whole area of 70°x40°, the loss from max. left to right horiz. is 2db, which is one of the best results in the audio world.
Additionaly it is filled with special mixed sand, to reduce resonance and any vibrations.
The weight in total with a driver is 10kg. The horn will be hung into the bigger horn with steel strings, which will give it a levatating look.
The horn can be painted in any colour, from matte to high gloss etc.
Here you can see a smaller but special version of these horns which is supposed to work from 2,5khz upwards inside of a big bass midrange horn.
Kind regards, Elysio.
First of its kind, horn tweeter.

Looks very cool. Needs a banana for scale though.
