I just completed the build of my Rostock Max V2. The clear eeprom command worked but the next step (Repetier.ino) failed to compile.
This is the error report.
Any guidance is welcome.
My compurter is an HP Pavilion dv7 with Windows 7 and a core I7 processor with lots of ram.

Re: Failed to compile on initial startup
I got a bunch of errors on a compile once, and found out I had a setting in Ardruino wrong:
In the Arduino IDE, click Tools->Board and pick the entry marked “Arduino Mega 2560 or
Mega ADK”.
I don't know alot about these yet, but I thought it was worth a shot...

Re: Failed to compile on initial startup
I am using Arduino 1.0.5-r2
The directory and file is "C:\Repetier\Repetier.ino"
All of the accompanying files were unzipped into this directory also.
The eeprom_clear program works.
I have the settings for the serial port 6
and the board is Arduino Mega 2560 or Mega ADK on Com 6
