Wrong temperature at the hotend

Post by Khayrisill »

Good Morning everybody

I have some issue with the ABS and delamination, I print at 245 - 250 C, but it still does not work.
So I checked with a thermocouple and when I ask for 245 degrees It's actually 195 degrees...

This comes from the thermistor ? Because when I start the printer, it reads 24 degrees for the head and 24 for the bed, so that mean at room temperature everything look good.

For information, its a Rostock Max v2 with a Prometheus V2.

Thanks

Adjust the Beta value of the hot end thermistor in the firmware.

Thermistors should be calibrated for the temperature range in which they operate in, and each thermistor can vary a little bit.

Yes, you are perfectly right.

Interesting topic by the way. Because I followed the instruction from Prometheus but is not enough.
