Note: In the videos (range 01 and 02) the motors loses step,but that is not the concern of the moment. I'm worried about the flow of ABS extrunder.

Hi,
Manufacturer's guidelines:
a basically print at a highest temp before the ABS is going to degrade.
eg. for the white one about 210 C
Every hot-end is different, you have to try.

Hi,
I increased the teflon tube 4 mm in order to eliminate any space between the nozzle and teflon. But the problem remained.

Not sure if you still have the extrusion problem but is the roller tensioner thing tight enough? (the two allen wrench head screws on the extruder) That did it for me when I switched my filament, for some reason ultimaker filament was somehow thinner then what I was using and it wouldn't extrude , It'd get to the nozzle and start slipping

The problem still exists. Even pushing the filament maualmente. I tried several times to adjust these screws, but did not solve the problem. For a larger nozzle 2mm, and adjusting a lower speed solves the problem. A 2mm nozzle serves no project 3D printer. So I have to solve this problem with 3mm filament, to a 0.5mm nozzle, and the speed standard SeeMeCNC.

Have you tried a different plastic? I had terrible problems with the first plastic I tried, and when I switched to a different batch everything went smoothly. They were both 3mm ABS plastics, but from different companies with different dyes and, I suspect, different composition.

Completley forgot about the filament , I bought some 3mm on ebay and it was great, got a free sample from ulitmaker and it just wasn't as good, stopped extruding even without a jam, It just wouldn't work wellstienman wrote:Have you tried a different plastic? I want to calibrate my printer nozzle 2mm, with my ABS plastic (until the new arrive). I think the flow of plastic for this nozzle (2mm) is good. Would you like ideas calibration.

FWIW I've never seen the PTFE tube discolor like that at normal temperatures.
If you bought the thermocouple separate from the meter, can you verify your thermocouple is reading close to correct, stick it in the fridge or put it in the oven and verify it reads more or less what you'd expect, it you have the wrong type of thermocouple they read miles off.
The way the cube is coming out in the video looks like you are printing way to hot, or with way too much filament, or possibly your Z calibration is incorrect.
Do the input filament calibration, i.e mark off 50mm of filament, extrude 50mm of filment and verify that's what you get.
Print a single walled test piece, measure the wall thickness, compare to the slicer settings and adjust the extruder steps accordingly.
As for the best plastic, Ultimachine is by far the most consistent I've used, I have perhaps half a dozen reals from them, they have very consistent diameter, and good characteristics, both PLA and ABS.
I also have 3 or 4 rolls from reprapper.com, and it's OK, but I wouldn't recommend it. The filament diameter is extremely inconsistent, which makes getting high quality prints difficult.

The nozzle of 2mm (huge) was that I did (test). I had an extra nozzle SeeMeCNC and used a drill to make the hole. 2mm flow is good. Even so I reduced the speed of the motors. The teflon darkened because I realized the setting and measuring of temperature on the outside of the nozzle, which is not good. It is wise to perform the measurement on the inside of the nozzle, as I showed in the following videos. After that, I had no problems darkening of teflon.
I will try to adjust with the nozzle of 2mm. After return to the smaller diameter.

Honestly , don't bother with the 2mm It serves no use, Check your heating resistors ,also , what diameter is your teflon tube?
