Hi,
I have noticed that when I extrude in the air my filament kind of bends slightly to one side and I think that is because the nozzle is a little clogged. Im not using the fan... I have some .5mm drill bits that I stuck up in the nozzle and that seems to have unclogged the nozzle... But do you remove it/torch it/acetone bath it on a regular interval?
How often should the nozzle be changed if printing only basic colored abs/pla? And will a hardend e3d nozzle work with the stock hot end?
How often do you clean your nozzle?

Actually... never, only if a clog occurs. But that only happened when I was printing recycled PET
I think the E3D nozzles are not compatible with the HE280 hotend.

Gene did say that the E3D nozzles will work with the HE280, it's just a little longer. They will not work with the original hotend. HE280 uses a 4mm thread, the original uses 3/8-24.

Thanks Mac for clarifying it, I don't where I read that.
