ptfe tubing: local suppliers?

Post by Qdeathstar »

guys, I've been working on my heated enclusure, and part of the project involved moving the extruded to the top of my machine. I knew I had some tubing so I didn't check on it till now, and it seems it's about 6" too short

:(

does lowes or Home Depot sell this? Amazon can't get it here till Tuesday :x

I really doubt they carry it in metric sizes, if they have it at all.

if you live in a large north american city you might try a medical or hospital supply or a supplier of professional laboratory equipment.
make sure you get the right size i had some that was fine with the SeeMeCNC filament but some no name filament i got cheaply at a maker swap meet jamed in it.
it is used for fluidics work or it was in a research lab i visited last winter... of course getting it before places open on Monday will be a problem

Check to see if there is a MicroCenter in your area, they usually carry a 3ft length
