I may be having a blonde/senior moment, but I had EXPECTED the eccentrics to fit inside the bearings.
Either they fit inside the truck plates or I have the wrong eccentrics.
My order SAYS 1/4 inch eccentrics, which is what Brian has spec'd in a few places.
6mm is the only alternative on their site.
I got mine and put the bearing in the wheels (had one wheel oversized and slip fit), but haven't played with the eccentrics yet. One thing to note...the 1/4" and 6mm is referring to the length of the eccentric so that you match the correct length spacer.

About the eccentric mounting though...it fits into the trick trucks plate. Check out the 3rd picture on this page and you see one of the holes is larger than the other two for the eccentric to fit into.

Thanks,
Yes, it is clear from the picture - and it is the hole that is for the side that takes only ONE roller.

I know I shouldn't obsess over this, but that cam looks to be awful short to be going into the plate.
Maybe the screw takes all the relevant force(s) and it doesn't matter.

That is correct, the 7mm dia. part of the eccentrics go into the Trick Truck Plate.

Make sure you put 1 of the precision shim washers inside wheel between each bearing.
OpenBuild_DualVWheel_Example__65154.1405390430.1280.1280.jpg
Note: images from openbuilds web site.

Plus 2 more shim washers on each axle bolt, between standoffs and bearing, to get correct spacing of truck plate.
(The 1/4" standoffs are not tall enough for truck to clear extrusion)

Thanks for answering my next (unasked) question Brian - clairvoyance ? (-:
I had been thinking that squeezing the inner races of the bearings together with the same force as required to mount the axle to the plate would be a BAD idea.

The rest of my bearings should be here TODAY -- C'mon postal service.

Trick Trucks shipping update:
sorry to say I was not able to ship them on the 12th as I was planning...
Here is what happened, I received the first batch of parts on Wednesday from my local waterjet guy.
( I machined the first few beta test sets on my CNC mill )
After inspection we discovered they where out of tolerance and I am not going to ship 2nd rate parts. (holes way over-sized)
Fortunately the shop is local and I know the owner, so he re-cut them all and I had the replacements late Friday evening.
This actually worked out for the better, I was able to tweak the design file, and make a few improvements, so you all will be getting a even better version!
Not, that the first iteration was not awesome, they are now even better :) ...like threaded arm mounting holes.

So, Monday/Tuesday we will be threading holes, reaming holes to precise sizes, de-burring, sandblasting to a nice matte finish, packing and labeling, etc. for shipping out on Wednesday.

Hope you understand. Thanks for your patience and support.
Only 3 days past my estimated ship, but you are getting iteration 2 !

Oh, and another bonus, I decided to ship (6) shorter 6-32 cap screws so they do not stick way out of the back like stock ones would.

We also updated web page photos and description showing the final shipping version.
Added links to assembly and install videos also.

Here's the difference between V1 and V2, if you guys are curious.

Should be fixed now. I forgot that this forum doesn't like URL's of FaceBook images, so I had to load them through Imgur. You probably checked in the 2 minutes it took me to get it right :)

Quick on the draw, that's me. (Looks good now: thanks.)

But, the new version is on the left (smaller, with arm mount inside the triangle), correct?

The V2 should solve the problem of the carriages bottoming out on the towers on large diameter prints. To do some prints I had to saw off the bottoms of the CheapSkate Carriages to reach the extreme radius of the parts.

Looks very good.

That's correct. The dimensions of the triangle are the same, but Brian moved the arm mount below the top roller for rigidity, weight savings, and to make the overall assembly shorter.

I was wondering how they compare weight wise with a R MAX v1 carriage so I weighed them today, check it out !
(Jim already did a compare to his v2 carriage, even though v2 has 4 wheels vs. 5 the Trick Trucks are still 1/2 the weight.)
