Hello Everyone,
From down here in the Houston area and purchased the kit here at the online store and while I did not keep track on the build time it was probably double the 20 hours. Had a few mistakes mostly due to not double reading the instructions before each stage, as is my usual practice when I am engaging in a practice where I am a total noob.
I do have over 28 years in the Machine Shop (Automotive) so I am not totally unversed in these practices. That being said I am so glad to have built the kit as I do enjoy such things an have a much better understanding.
I have already made a few prints and the calibrations need just a little tweaking but only on very thin fine prints and I will be satisfied.
I will be mostly lurking here sponging up as much knowledge as I can.... Oh and may need some help, Thingiverse is a black hole and I can see to find my way out! :-)

Thanks.. It is truly a work of art.... The only downfall is, I can watch it for hours... Til the iron skillet finds the backside of my skull! Lol...

They are truly fascinating to watch but the newness will wear off, probably.

True, I feel the same... But since there is nothing more interesting than that on TV I do not experience that as a problem...

Guilty. I've watched many a print, start to end, thinking, "I will just watch the first three layers."

Woo, fellow Houstonian! Welcome. I barely made it in ahead of you. They are quite absorbing to watch aren't they? I'm still fascinated on every print.
