Why does the kit instruction speak of new stepper motors? The old look to be the same as the steppers sold and used now. My V3 has gotten very little use as I wanted a production machine to function better out of the box and sadly that has not been my experience to date. I am thinking of buying the upgrade kit in hopes of a better experience. How do folks like the V3.2?
Thank you in advance for your time and responses.
Best Regards,
Tim

You can opt to buy .9 degree steppers as part of the upgrade kit.

Re: V3 to V3.2 - Stepper Motors?
two related questions, what was the degree (resolution?) on the original v3 stepper motors if not .9?
What is the benefit of the .9 degree steppers?

The originals were 1.8.
The benefit? double resolution.

I covered the benefits of 0.9deg motors including before and after prints in my blog at https://miscsolutions.wordpress.com/201 ... a-printer/. This was on my own Kossel derivative, not on a SeeMeCNC printer, so your mileage may vary.
Re: V3 to V3.2 - Stepper Motors?
Speaking about stepper motors, which one would be better for the v3.2 EZR Struder. I bought the upgrade from v3 to v3.2 and my old V3 EZR Struder is failing, so i need to buy a new one but its asking if i want a stepper motor with the EZR Struder. Should i get a new stepper motor and if i should, should i get the 1.8 or the 0.9 to go with the new v3.2.

Re: V3 to V3.2 - Stepper Motors?
I recently upgraded from the 3 to the 3.2, and purchased an extra 0.9 stepper motor for my extruder. It makes setup a little simpler, and my results were similar to @dc42. When I asked for a dual extrusion kit for xxx-mas, I also asked for the 0.9 version as well. Been running like a charm when I do my part!
