Hello -
I am a TOTAL NOOB and need some guidance - please.
New printer just assembled.
All appears to be good until . . .
I am in the initial configuration (step 5) of calibrating my printer. I am doing the "First Probe" and running into a problem. The first probe appears to run sucessfully, however upon the beginning of the second probe at the first point - the head taps the first time ok(?) and upon the second tap it stalls and a few seconds later the printer disconects itself throwing out a "Communication Error" (AJAX error reported reason - timeout.
I have ran the first prob numerous times with the same result.
Can someone help me?
Thanks,
Pete

Re: First Probe Error and shutdown
The gcode command M122 might provide insight into the concern.
If you are getting a disconnect AND the printer shuts down midstream concurrently you might be getting a reset.
You can type in M122 in the gcode console on the web interface.
M122
will report things such as why the board reset, voltages etc.
The next step might be to open a help ticket.

Re: First Probe Error and shutdown
Is the printer still attached to the computer with the USB cable?
If so, disconnect the cable from the printer and do the probe strictly wirelessly.

Problem solved - Disconnected the USB cable and it worked flawlessly.
Thanks for your time and help.
