Has anyone heard if there will be a way to upgrade a V1/V2 to a V3 as with the previous version? There are so many improvements since V1 not to mention new equipment (hotend, extruder, power supply) that I have my doubts. I would just like to know for sure so I can either consider buying a V3 to compliment my V1 or wait for the upgrade kit. I don't really need two printers, but I like the improvements of the V3 enough to consider it.
Thank you.

I have rumors that an upgrade to the V3 will be offered but they need to catch up with all the orders coming in.
I would anticipate a wait of months.

Certainly that makes sense. I am happy to wait months if needed, but would like to know for sure if the kit is coming. In any event I will continue to tweak my V1 and wait an see what happens.

It's very much DIY (no upgrade manual or handholding), but the parts you mention are already available.Christian79 wrote:Has anyone heard if there will be a way to upgrade a V1/V2 to a V3 as with the previous version? If your printer is old enough to need updated arms, ball joints, or carriages, those are in the shop too.
