Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows a good place in Aus to get PEI sheet?
Most of the stuff I can find online comes from the States and has a pretty horrific postage price...

Is there anywhere locally that stocks it?

I'm actually communicating with a guy in China who makes PEI, and he was just introduced to the 3D printing market. He's sending me a 300mm circle for me to confirm the dimensions, and then I suspect that we'll talk about distribution. I'll let you know how that goes. Until then, source them where MHackney links to.

Spent some time searching last year and came up empty in Australia.

I think ePlas could get something in but it was a big sheet, thick and horrendously expensive.

I got my sheet from here:

http://www.fabricat3d.com.au/build-plat ... e-backing/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You can ask for an 'uncut sheet', which is 300 x 300mm. It's easy to cut to dimensions, I used a dremel, but a jigsaw with a fine blade, or even a sharp stanley knife could be used to score and snap it to the right dimensions.

Yeah, I bought my 300mm PEI square from Fabricat3d; a nice guy in East Brisbane. The cheap PLA I bought off him has been nice so far, as well.

What about Sydney, could I get it here from market or should I also search on internet? I am also looking for Australian base sheets as import will charge me TAX!
