Looking to find a hot jet kit for my v3. Sold out on seeme. Alternatives?

It's a sole-source product right now. You'll just have to wait like the rest of us!

Interesting... I thought that the new hotend was all metal. I didn't realize that it had a liner.

It is all metal but with a twist! The PFTE Bowden tube actually advances down the cold zone to the heat break. This is actually a very good solution for PLA and ABS as it minimizes friction. The metal "Jet" insert will increase the length of the melt transition zone for these higher temp materials too. The shorter transition for PLA and ABS should result in less oozing (and so far, I've had very positive results with my V3 and no oozing).
