Re: crocky's Rostock Max V2 Build

Just trying to use the Rambo controls when the switch would not be pushed in!!! A quick look around the board here did not give an answer, so I started to have a look at the switch to see how much work there would be in replacing it and I found a little bit of filament that had got jammed in it. Too...

Re: crocky's Rostock Max V2 Build

No.....

I use three of the holes to mount the FSR mounts on to, then I just bolt the other three directly to the plate with the short 1/2" screws and spring washer and nut.

Re: crocky's Rostock Max V2 Build

Close, I am using the tapered screws that were provided in the kit for the three FSR mounts. I then cut about 1/8" off the remaining screws and used countersunk heads for the FSR Pistons with normal nuts. I then used some 1/8" by 1/2" screws and spring washers and nuts for the other t...

We don't mind if you test it first and make sure there is no problems, mine is really working nicely now with the old version.

Re: Rostock Max V2 + Upgrades | Build thread

Nice paint job :) Simplify 3D is pretty good, takes a little adjusting and then you will like it. Thanks! I like Orange, and the black/orange contrasts well. In regards to Simplify 3D - I have never used any CAD or SLICER program before. Therefore, I would be learning on that. Hopefully, there won'...

Re: crocky's Rostock Max V2 Build

FSR's for Calibration, the way to go! Buy the FSR kit from Ultibots they make the implementation of these things a breeze. I used my own mount and piston design, you can copy mine if you like or go ahead and design your own. Wire the FSR's to the board using the provided harness wiring. I used the t...

Re: Delta Automatic Calibration Tool - For Repetier Firmware

Back a version to 2.0.1B and the printer works and advanced calibrated beautifully. Probably took about 6 iterations! Windows 10 in tablet did not like it with latest software. Windows 8 in HP did not like it with the latest software. Windows 8 in HP works well with 2.0.1B. I'll put the tablet back ...

How can I copy the log... I can't select anything with the mouse. She's frozen, probably because I stopped it... The program was 203PA.... I ran it again and it started going left again and then at iteration 28 the head ploughed into the bed even with FSR's on, hmmmmmmm! I have got another windows 8...

Re: Delta Automatic Calibration Tool - For Repetier Firmware

With the TW802 connected directly to the printer it gets to iteration 21-22 before the the home begins changing. Always to the left.. Put everything back to normal and try with pause time COM at 1000, still the same. Get to 21-22 and then starts moving the home position to the left again. Every iter...

I'll get it changed back this morning, remove the powered hub, and run the printer directly to the TW802 and see if that makes a difference.

the change to the home settings is worry though..

Re: Delta Automatic Calibration Tool - For Repetier Firmware

My problems are: Program starts and seems to work fine until about iteration 20 and then it's home setting begin to change at move a little to the left. When I saw that happening I aborted the run at iteration 30 because there was something wrong. Then I had to enter the values to put it all back an...

Re: Delta Automatic Calibration Tool - For Repetier Firmware

Nice to see mine going thru some iterations now, it's up to 20 now..... :) EDIT: After twenty or so it started to move to the left, it now thinks the bed is moving to to left and the centre is changing to match it... something is wrong here? I stopped it at 30 iterations! What the best way to get it...

Re: Delta Automatic Calibration Tool - For Repetier Firmware

Rollie,

He may be having problems with the signals from the FSR's... Mine show as H when at rest and go to L when activated...

Where is the easiest place the change it for the Z-probe to be L and the change to H when activated?

Re: Delta Automatic Calibration Tool - For Repetier Firmware

Hi Rollie, It came down to about 150cm and started its routines there! It didn't get down far enough to get a FSR. I thought I needed the build dia, baud rate, com port no and then connect. There is probably more to it.... I'll wait till the new one is finished.... I reset the z settings again and d...

Still waiting for mine to arrive, they are in Melbourne according to tracking... So maybe tomorrow, or tuesday.. I am designing new FSR pads to go into the holes where the bolts go, line up should be a breeze.
