It was my setup which was causing a hickup. i use my pi to power 4ch relay, i have the heatbed power supply, lights, and printer main supply on it. the pi would be powered up before the smoothie. i did these e-chain links with volcano 1.2mm nozzle 1mm height. you should hollow out a pocket on the nose, big enough for the magnet, then seal it in with the bottom/top layers

mine came pre soldered, ive tried it on 2 glcd boards with no luck so it really looks like a connection issue.

well i physically installed the two ribbons ext1/2, and i copied and pasted the code snippet from the GLCD wiki into the section ( although it was mostly already there just "#" commented out). can you copy your entire config here so i can do a line by line compare? Thanks

BBB is the brains and CRAMPS is the motor controller, there are different boards out that do the same thing as CRAMPS or more... i think they are up to 10stepper motor on a bebopr++ with optional muxer. depends on material, if you are using abs you can use acetone to clean nozzles out, else you can heat up with lighter/torch and pick the plastic out.

you should move the point where it mounts to the base of the cold section instead of the hot section, you only need 2 screws in the fans anyways.
