Re: Listen to instructions (magnetic arms)
I got the same slant when I printed, come to find out one of the Screw/ball had come unscrewed and was sticking out further than others and caused the slant in the prints.

clogged nozzle
Any suggestions on unclogging a SeemeCNC 0.35mm Nozzle? Up until now I only used PLA on it, but wanted to use up a role of ABS I had. The first print started fine but came loose from bed so I stopped it then started it back up and then it would not extrude right, I had to replace the PTE tube inside...

Re: Can't override slic3r settings
It seems I get that now more than 80% of the time, I did not figure it out, I asked before and no one had an awnser, I tried several things to no avail short of uninstalling remove from reg. and and residual files then reload. I just started using CURA for g-code and it never fails.

What is the actual Resolution of the Rostock Max with the 0.5mm nozzle and the 0.35mm nozzle?
I think most refer it to microns. 100um
The Makerbot prints 100um layers and has an X/Y positioning precision of 11um, and Z of 2.5

Re: Upgrade kit for v1 owners?
Rostock-D2 has been assembled for about a week now. I created the BOM and gave it to John and Steve for a second look. Can you do me a favor and print this , scaled to take up the whole print surface if necessary, at a layer height of 0.1mm? I just can't get that out of my Max. I've designed alignm...

Installed a new hot end With a a 0.35mm nozzle from SeeMeCNC. There is a significant improvement in sharpness and now the bridging works as you can see from a picture with a thin layer across open space. On my final layers I need to get the line spacing a little closer. Have to figure that out in CU...

Re: Xnaron Printable Magnetic u-joint option for Rostock Max
I used the magnets with the Bearings, dipped the head in JB-Weld then attached the screw to the bearings, the magnet held them into place, Looks like you are using stainless cap screws so that would not work. Then when they set a little bit I placed them in oven on 170° for 30 minutes it cured the J...

First Print in PLA, I think I like it better than ABS plastic. Note to self don't use as much hairspray next time (I had to tap it off with a hammer) IMAG0493.jpg That looks really nice for your first PLA. I don't see all the hairs and strings normally associated with PLA. Yea I was pleasantly surp...

Re: Scaling Problem
Are your towers parallel to the bed when using a square, and is the center of the nozzle the same distance to all three towers? May be an alignment issue, just throwing out some more things to check.
