Also, I am curious why you upgraded from v2 to v3? What were you looking to gain?
Thanks,

Re: Adjusting first layer
I have ordered a thermocouple, should be here in 2 days to find out how far off "norm" my hot end is running so I can map out the real temps. I have thought about tearing apart the bed again, perhaps tomorrow night if you don't find anything first. I need to print some successful items :) that ring ...

Re: Adjusting first layer
Well, I squared up the towers (two were 1mm off or so), adjusted the endstop screws so that the tower endstep offset was under 4 on all 3, ran the probe "hot" and it didn't appear to help much with the thin side. 1st layer CalibrationRing1stlayer.jpg 2nd layer CalibrationRing2ndlayer.jpg I am ...

Re: Adjusting first layer
I was waiting for my Raspberry Pi to show up and install octoprint so I didn't have to install mattercontrol on my wifes laptop to look at firmware, but I caved last night to get the Tower offsets, so I will calibrate tonight the offsets and check for repeatability. The Raspi should be here any day ...

Re: Adjusting first layer
Used your gcode, but it is similar results to the circles above that I sliced. I started the first ring at 220/60 and upped the temp based on watching it to my standard 220 so the layer "meshed" rather than separate strings. calibrated cold. This is a hot bed calibration, and 210/60 ...

I have an IR thermo and it doesn't appear to help.... The tip external temp is totally different than the thermistor internal temp.

Re: HE280 Upgrade Completed - screen goes blank mid-print
Roughly 2" x 7" x 4.5" I was measuring it installed... The max has some clearance below it's bracket so it is closer to 2.3" or so installed. It was tough getting a tape measure around it installed, so if it is close you will want better measurements prior to ordering.

Hmmm, does this indicate 280c, or 280c only with the optional jet-kit? NEW HE280 Hotend that uses a 40w heater cartridge and all-metal design. The hotend also features thermal runaway protection by using a thermal fuse mounting in the heat sink to monitor temps and kill all power to the heater in ...

So what is the HE280's max temp without the hot end? I assume it is somewhere around 245-247 like the Rostock Max v2?

Re: Rostock V3 Bed issue
I have reprogrammed the probe points to match yours, during the next recalibration I still had "head tilt". I also ran a 1st layer test after and am still having issues with bed leveling. I will continue to dig. The good news is any testing/builds in the center of the bed work well

What slicer on those cubes? My printer is working "fine" for most things but needs calibrated, an better and I printed one of those cubes via KISS and had the same thing. via matterslicer it looked like a cube.
