Oblig: "That thing belongs in a museum!"
Is the firmware you're running have a good auto-calibration system for delta printers? I don't know anything about it.

You're looking at something custom built around a Duet Smart Effector then.

Re: Rostock Max V2 Upgrades
Yes, both the Duet Smart Effector and the SE300 have a built-in strain gauge circuit that's used for auto-calibration. As far as I know, the SE300 is good to 300C, but you should confirm that with SeeMeCNC directly. This is what the injection molded carriage set looks like: https://www.seemecnc.com/...

Re: Rostock Max V2 Upgrades
If you're going to go the Duet route, I would highly recommend you go with either a Duet Smart Effector or go with an SE300 hot end assembly & a wiring whip. The SE300 and Duet Smart Effector use the same strain gauge circuit for detecting the nozzle touching the bed. The calibration using a Due...

Re: Looking to upgrade my V1 again
I'm sorry, I wasn't paying close enough attention to what you wrote. :) If you go to the SE300 hot end assembly, you get the mounts & delrin "barbells" for mounting the injection molded arms - the PCB on the SE300 is electronically the same as the Duet Smart Effector for the purposes o...

Why not just use the injection molded arms that SeeMeCNC sells?

As far as I know, the Artemis has been replaced by the BOSSDelta 300. You can reach out to SeeMeCNC and see what their ETA on those are. They recently moved, so may still be getting things set up.

Check for shorts in the wiring harness - if there aren't any, you should probably reach out to [email protected].

It's probably pretty close in size to the E3D heat block - I'd measure it and check.

Re: Artemis PLA Stock Profile Improvements?
I don't have much advice for you on the stringing, but the best way to work out the issue is with a pair of 10mm cubes about 6mm tall, spaced 7-10mm apart. It's small & fast and is good at working on stringing problems.

Re: Once more - stopped working with no warning after another stint of flawlessness. This time it's the SD card?
Without knowing what the error code you got actually means, I can't answer that precisely. SD cards do have a limited lifespan. I would ask the Duet3D folks to explain what the error code is - that would help.

You may need to replace the card. I'm not sure though. Are you able to put the SD card in your computer and back it up?
You might want to post this on the Duet3D forums and see what they've got to say about it.

Re: Artemis 300 - Not able to calibrate zero or bed level
This is your clue: "Warning: Z probe readings not consistent". Is the nozzle perfectly clean? Does the bed glass move at all? Also make sure that the bed heat is off during calibration - the magnetic field created by the bed heater will interfere with the strain gauge circuit in the hot en...

What happens when you issue an M119 with none of the end stop switches triggered? Test each one - hold an end stop closed, issue the m119 and make sure it reports the right switch as being triggered.

If you've got a WiFi network with both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radios AND use the same SSID for both, it could cause that issue.

Re: Rostock Max V2 Preheat Causes Software Crash
Thanks! Helped me remember a few things. ;) Here's the defines for the first fan: #define EXTRUDER_FAN_COOL_TEMP 40 #define EXT0_EXTRUDER_COOLER_SPEED 400 The first one sets the fan to turn on when the hot end temp exceeds 40C. It will also cause it to shut off when it falls below that value. The se...
