Barry Chuck has a few more pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/90025904@N04/albums/72157667337313316 Here is one of my testing videos working on the calibration. The print at the end just started loosing the slice calibration, also noted during the transition tower purge around 2:49. https://www...

The Palette (Mosaic Manufacturing)

I've had the Palette for about 4 months. To this point I haven't posted anything about it mainly because it's been difficult to get calibrated for large bowden setups. aka did not work well for the Rostock Max v2. We had issues with the ping/pong detection and would cause the filament slices to wond...

Re: Color mixing ideas

pallete costs the same as a Rostock v2.. I think I'll break out the spray paint... Yea, it's not exactly cheap. I picked it up as a super early backer for $460. Hopefully the firmware changes and the aluminium upgrades make it usable for our Deltas. I haven't had much time this summer to mess aroun...

Re: Color mixing ideas

I've had the Palette for about 4 months now. I'll post more information in a different topic if anyone wants to see the inner working guts. For the most parts its been unusable on the larger bowden style deltas due to the length of the filament chain. I've not been able to complete a successful prin...

Re: First Print

For the first picture, It's the model design. View the slicer output and see if that very edge is floating in air. Printing with supports might help it, but that usually makes the surface look worse.

The rest of it looks like slight over extruding. Overall it looks good.

RTFM... Got it :)
LOL, I'll never tell someone to "google it". Doesn't bother me one bit to lookup stuff if it helps someone out.

Re: Can't get rid of M103 command in S3D.

Looks like a known error in which support recommended adding {STRIP "M103"} to the post processing script.

Others say uninstall and delete any app data, then reinstall.

I looked through my gcode and don't see any reference to M103.

My original steppers have a sticker on them " Kysan 1124090 7951"

Datasheet shows 5.5 kg cm or 76ish oz in.

My lowes bucket did the same thing with a 5.5HP shop vac. Ended up using a chlorine bucket with a screw lid. It's half the size but thicker.

Re: I'd vote for this guy before any of the clowns running now.

Forum talk is just that. I don't think it's possible to persuade anyone one way or another with random statements or even facts. Some people are die hard Democrats or Republicans and don't care about the person specifically as long as their party wins, others are just hard-headed. As for me? It's pu...

if the overall squareness is off a bit it could just be squishing down the nozzle further on those sides causing a wider wall thickness.

Ebay Lasers

Anyone have experiences with the Redsail 50w / 6ow clones being sold on ebay? I know the wattage is overstated from the reviews I can find, but nobody seems to have any real issues. I don't mind upgrading after the fact, just want something with a larger footprint to learn on. $2k-ish is about my bu...
