Re: Rostock v1 Extruder constantly jamming
Have you tried a different roll of filament? I've stored all my filament the same way and they're about the same age, but the transparent filaments and Semiflex have started jamming quite consistently where they didn't originally.

Re: blobs on direction change
Does S3D have a setting like other slicers call Pressure Advance or Elasticity Compensation that tweaks the extruded volume up or down as speed changes? You could have an extremely inappropriate setting for that parameter, perhaps.

Repetier Host has that functionality in the form of a nice real-time graph. I don't remember if MatterControl does.

Re: Bed won't heat past 97*
The bed terminals on the Rambo are also really close to their limits and overdriving them would make me very uncomfortable about melting them down, especially if you have an Onyx on the low end of the resistance tolerance. You probably don't need 100C for ABS. I did well with it at 90 until I got my...

Re: Heater decoupled when trying to use Dual Extrusion
Is there a chance your firmware is configured for traditional fully-independent dual extrusion with two heaters and two thermistors?

Re: How to get faster prints?
The remaining difference is likely in some combination of nozzle size, layer height (which is a fairly direct trade-off of surface quality vs print time), and/or infill type and percentage.

Re: How to get faster prints?
That's very small. It's almost guaranteed to be in your cooling settings. If you're using a material that will accept some cooling fan, you can do less cooling slowdown. Alternatively, you can probably make four on your current settings with comparatively little increase in total print time.

Re: "Killed" when heating bed to 100
I made an ABS turntable that covered literally the entire printable area of the bed on a 90 degree Kapton surface with a manageable amount of warping for my application. I haven't found 100 to help much.

Re: quick question - how do i take out the bowden tube?
I think the HE280 is the same as the hot end for the old V2 in this respect...The black ring in the center of the top of the hot end is a PTC (push-to-connect) connector. Push it down (towards the nozzle) to release the Bowden tube (in theory). If that doesn't work easily something more creative may...

Glad you found it. It's not a bad practice to re-check those on occasion. Before the watchdog you might have joined the melted-terminals club.

Re: Best dual extrusion set up for soluble support?
I just didn't want to deal with the limonene. If PETG has adequate properties for your application my experience has been that it sticks to PVA, which is water-soluble. I also picked up some E3D Scaffold a while back to fill out an order so the shipping didn't sting so much and it supposedly works w...

Are you sure it's coming loose at the hot end? An intermittent connection anywhere or triggering of the watchdog will do the same thing.

Re: Bad Prints
The heat sink/break should not be in the filament path when calibrating the extruder drive (unless you remove the nozzle, which would be more trouble and have a less accurate result than removing one end of the Bowden tube). Extrusion is controlled at the drive, and a longer extrudate will always co...

Re: Heated bed erratic behaviour
The 0.92 branch of the firmware has a feature called watchdog that monitors temperature commands and actual temperature. If a certain amount of time goes by with the heater running but no increase in measured temperature, it decides something has come disconnected and throws the def error. If it is ...

Re: SSR keeps blowing on 24V Heated bed
I don't think you're blowing anything. Heat stuck on is exactly the condition I had when my SSR was wired the way yours is. Swapping the output terminals left it functioning correctly.
Another thing... You can't ohm out the bed while it's connected to the circuit.

Re: Garbled text on LCD screen
Mine is also having LCD idiosyncracies since the firmware upgrade that it didn't have before. I have replaced the ATX with a basic PSU with a bonded negative. I think I've isolated it to when I touch something conductive on the machine, be it the towers, hot end, or the face of the LCD. It has not d...

Nasty is an understatement. There are a lot of places on that thing that are literally impossible without support. Even with support that's a very ambitious first object to attempt.

Try tuning PID first. That the set temperature doesn't alter the behavior suggests insufficient available power is not the issue.

Re: G92 E0 causes a lot of extrusion.
Axis homing is only even defined when the Cartesian axes are on independent carriages. The RepRap gcode reference agrees, saying a delta can not home a single axis, so the axis parameters are simply ignored. This is apparently not completely true with the firmware version you are running. Since all ...

These are DIY kits- just because you purchased one assembled by a 3rd party doesn't change that. MatterHackers or you could have easily done something to damage the board and Seeme has no way to know that without looking at it. It's not unreasonable for them to want you to send in the board first. ...
