Re: GLCD on smoothieboard

Another thought...have you tried messing with contrast in the config file? No idea if it will work on that panel...

Code: Select all

panel.contrast 9 # override contrast setting (default is 9)

Re: GLCD on smoothieboard

Are you using the 0.5 or 1.0amp voltage regulator? That panel will have poor contrast if you use the 0.5.

Re: Trick Laser MAX METAL Build

I'll probably use many of your parts (if it works why reinvent the wheel!), but I have a few other ideas I want to work in (top, base, fsr). I'll post them all once I get it figured out. I suck at CAD but this should be a fun learning experience...and I have a month off from work to figure it all out.

Woo hoo...my frame has made it safe and sound to the other side of the world. Just in time for the start of my vacation from work. Took me nearly 1/2 hour to unpackage it all...beautifully wrapped!

On power up (plug in usb) you should see 1,2,3,4 light up green one at a time then fast flashing. 3.3v should light up orange/red as well.

Re: Successful calibration with 626Pilot Smoothieware + FSRs

A question...

I have an older version of the V2 and the top plate doesn't have screw holes for the snow flake in front of the towers.
Would it matter if the FSR's were mounted offset from the towers? I suppose I could drill some holes if need be but at this stage would prefer not to.
