Re: Next Printer?
Not sure I am up to a scratch build yet. I was kind of thinking of a Cartesian next and going with a larger print bed to print multiples of small items, but I also like the idea of getting another Max and building it up. Always nice to have interchangeable parts for troubleshooting... I will keep lo...

Re: Bed temperature when Printing from SD
I would suspect different settings between MatterControl and Cura, not the SD card. Perhaps first layer temp or something like that?

Re: Rostock Max v3 enclosure
Sorry about the delay, I was working on the printer/enclosure this morning and discovered a tweak was needed in the lower fill piece to allow max clearance. Also, I had to adjust the Lower Bracket to be slightly thinner to allow the homing process. There was enough clearance for operation, but not t...

Next Printer?
I am pondering whether to purchase a 2nd machine as I am interested in making changes to the max but don't want to be without a printer while doing upgrades. So... has anyone run across an enclosed, heated bed printer using the duet controller? Dual extruder?

Re: Greetings from the PNW
I insulated mine with reflective insulation, heats up much faster than stock but at last test I couldn't get anywhere near 100 with any fans running.

Re: Greetings from the PNW
Welcome, perhaps print on something other than glass to make it so printing on a 75degree bed is ok? That or go 24v on the bed.

Re: HE280 Layer Fan Shroud Mods
How well do the work? If a person likes them enough you could have them printed out of aluminum on shapeways or somewhere similar.

Re: Rostock Max v3 enclosure
The base is assembled on the machine, everything fit including the fasteners. I haven't installed the top portion yet, I will likely get to that this weekend. I decided to be cheap and go the easy way for a bit. I am printing another part to hold reflective bubble insulation on the printer as an ini...

Rostock Max v3 enclosure
As we all build enclosures you get more and more options. This is a traditional follow the contours of the base design, the brackets work both top and bottom with a stock v3. The existing screws are used to attach the main brackets, but must add in 1 screw on each side between each axis (top/bottom)...

Re: Help with configuration file(s)
The proper method is to clear the eeprom prior to uploading the firmware. If you write down the eeprom settings you can manually enter them after wards. I hear rumors that some people don't routinely clear the eeprom before uploading firmware with just config changes, but I haven't done it.

Re: Enclosure for the V3
The corners lifted on the print, but I got a solid base printed for some testing. It appears there is not enough clearance yet, but I guess I am thinking about something that is a cross between your design and Noircogi's. I may have to dig out the cad software
