I think there are some copy paste typos in this, as the switching info is not consistent.
Can you rephrase correct? Also ABS temp between 240-260 is way too high. I run at 228deg C for ABS

Re: Not sure whether I can print this?
Thanks Captain Starfish for your comments. I indeed need most strength in x and y. I fear that the part breaks if rotated by 90 deg. I'm successful running with a cross hatch support structure - but when MC crashed during print I had to restart. Now i'm struggling as every now and then with the ...

the biggest problem for me is....
..to start the actual print. I'm currently running with ABS, did the two fan shrouds successfully, but still I have issues.. Often during heat up some material comes out of the nozzle which I keep removing until the nozzle is clean again (I usually du this using my fingers) When print starts and the ...

Thank you thedoble and IMBoring25 for your answers.
I just found out how I can generate automated supports
The idea using a self made wall and some latticework sounds also reasonable to me. Not sure how much this is different from the generated support?

Not sure whether I can print this?
I would like to ask you guys whether I can print this clamp. Not sure about the sudden horizontal layer thats being added.
Of course I could tip the whole clamp 90° over to the side, but I think that the structure would suffer that way.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Re: Print from flash card
Format was MS-FAT 32. The problem was the adapter card. It doesn't seem to work correct on the Rostock, but interestingly well on my Macbook. After changing to a Transcend Adapter card, all works well. Thanks a lot for all suggestions.

Re: ABS Won't stick and curls on nozzle.
Just to make it perfectly clear: Set Zero at the 0.1mm feeler gauge and then lower again -0.1mm and zero again, in order to get a real zero for the nozzle tip exactly at the glass plate?

Re: Print from flash card
Thanks for the info Xenocrates. Appreciate it. Yes, on its own. Changing the screen by itself. If I unplug the card, the menu is stable again. (I just inserted the card into my mac with Mattercontrol running and exported the G-code file to the card. So just the file is in the root directory.) Thanks ...

Print from flash card
Ok, I have exported a G-Code file from Mattercontrol to my 8GB flash card that came with the Rostock Max v2. When inserting the card into the slot of the Rostock- the display simply keeps switching between the Temp / Target screen and a general FW Info screen. Forward and backward. There is nothing ...
