Re: Upgrading my V2?

You can order a Duet3D from Filastruder.com. The SE300 can be found here: https://www.seemecnc.com/products/se300-hotend?variant=30294357213278 The whip you need can be found here: https://www.seemecnc.com/products/assembled-hotend-whip-for-accelerometer-hotends?_pos=1&_sid=124e65584&_ss=r I...

Re: Auto Level Issues.

Is the bed powered up during the probing by chance? If not, I'd email [email protected] - I'm out of sane guesses at this point. ;)

Re: Auto Level Issues.

The video is a huge help, thanks! What you're seeing isn't really a "skip" The effector platform is being stopped by the nozzle and it's not detecting the "hit" until the platform is over-driven and it strikes the bed, triggering the sensor. I would carefully clean the nozzle to ...

Re: Issues printing geometries correctly

The probing only works if you've got an HE280 hot end with the accel. probe on it.

What style of carriages do you have on the Orion? Are they laser cut Melamine, or injection molded plastic?

tnx.

Re: Upgrading my V2?

It's a small circuit difference - I'd order the 1.4. The steel balls require a small amount of lube, while the delrin ones don't. You can get a Duet3D from Filastruder I think. They're the US distributor for Duet3D. Here's a link to the Duet2 WiFi: https://www.filastruder.com/collections/electronics...

Re: Upgrading my V2?

There's a number of things you can do Jeremy. As with most things, it boils down to how much money you want to spend in the process. :D For a start, you can upgrade to an HE280 hot end. Since it uses a heater cartridge instead of a pair of RTV-packed resistors, it's going to be more consistent and r...

Re: Screen will not display

The F3 fuse controls the extruder heater & fan outputs, F2 controls the electronics. Due to the board design, they can't be tested while installed - you'll get a good result if the fuse is blown. (info about the fuses can be found here: https://reprap.org/wiki/Rambo#Fuses ) Since you mentioned t...

The line you identified is there to back the filament out of the Y splitter on dual-extrusion machines. You can comment it out by sticking a ";" in front of it.

Re: Lots of issues with PETG

It could also be a thunk - watch the knob on the EZR to see if it does an uncommanded reverse. The bowden tube will twitch and you'll hear a "bump" sound. I'd also check to see if the gear teeth on the EZR are filled with plastic. If you're using a 0.5 nozzle, slice a cube @ 215C and attac...

Re: Lots of issues with PETG

Your extruder is either skipping or you've got a partial jam in the nozzle. It might be a bad slicer setting, but I've never seen a slicer setting do that.

Re: Lots of issues with PETG

For the top image, you've got too few top layers. For a .20 layer height, you want a minimum of 3 to 5 layers. For the bottom image, I suspect you're hearing a "clicking" noise when it prints, right? The "rot" you see is classic underextrusion due to either a blockage (unlikely i...

The cube looks like over extrusion to me. The batarang looks pretty good with the exception of the burnt chunk on one end. That's weird.

Re: Lots of issues with PETG

I would grab the S3D configs from the file section in SeeMeCNC's FB group, or use the latest version of Cura with the pre-built (and validated) profiles that can be found here: https://github.com/seemecnc/slicing-pro ... SE300/Cura

Re: Bed won't heat

Heating & cooling cycles can cause the compression terminals to loosen over time. That's what cause the terminal block to cook. Checking & tightening these periodically will avoid this. A bootlace crimp connector end can help too.

Re: Why does the Artemis always retract and then extrude the filament before starting?

What slicer are you using?

The Load Filament script is aware of the Y adapter, but your start g-gcode script is not. Here's some profiles that will work for Cura 4.5+ https://github.com/seemecnc/slicing-pro ... Cura%204-5

I wish I could help you out, but I've never printed with PETG before. I have heard that it can be quite stringy. You might want to check into the SeeMeCNC Facebook group (yech!) as there might be someone there that can help out with PETG.

Not all Artemis 300s were shipped with the Y adapter. The 2nd extruder used to be an option. I'm not sure when it became the default.

Re: Max V2 - Printing Above Bed

The v3.2 profiles are for duet-equipped machines, so you'll likely have some tweaking to do. Pay close attention to the start & end gcode in the profile, it will probably do things you don't want. (like over-retract or feed the filament)
