Has anyone got Bltoch auto level, Repetier FW, RAMbo

Has anyone got the Bltouch auto level sensor working on Delta printer with RAMbo controller, running Repetier firmware. I tried finding info about it on the net, but was unable to get anything.
Any info will be greatly appreciated, so I can get this setup going on my ROSTOCK V1.

Re: looking for z probe step by step

To Xenocrates, I am greatfull to your quick and comprehensive response. I may have build my MAX V1 some years back- but I heavily moded it to poses magnetic joints at the end of the arms that connect to the cheapskates and effector. This makes it rather easy to change the end effector with multiple ...

looking for z probe step by step

Hi to all, I have the ROSTOCK V1 and I am happy with it. I am considering the use of a height probe for auto calibration of the plate height (not the delta calibration procedure). Does any one know what is needed: In term of hardware Firmware to work with the RAMBo controller Basically, I want to bu...

Re: Help With Firmware

Thanks for your complete and detailed reply. I managed to locate a valid copy of my MAX V1 Firmware and - at least for now the movement is consistent. When I ll have more time I will do the calibration process in hope that the previous collision problem will disappear. I have to admit that your expl...

Help With Firmware

I have the MAX V1 for quite some time and loving it! Some months ago I made a stupid mistake and run this program called "OpenDACT310A". Now, I don't know what happened but since then my printer is not working well. It just is not longer aliened. I tried to re - calibrate it the usual way ...

Re: Printer Radius Clarafication

DELTA_X_ENDSTOP_OFFSET_STEPS (and Y and Z) If you've got 20-tooth pulleys and 16x microsteps (the standard configuration for any later v1 and all v2 RoMax), then each step should be 1/80 mm (0.0125mm). In that case, what I'd do is use some brass feeler gauges to establish how far I'm off on each en...

Re: Printer Radius Clarafication

I believe the center point doesn't move regardless of what you set the delta radius to. I am thinking of making an end effector with adjustable head height - so if I get the head to swoop to the outer edges of the bed with no problems then if I will move the head to the center it's unlikley to sit ...

Printer Radius Clarafication

As a Rostock use I have paid may fair share of late night printer calibration procedure. My question is with regards to the actual parabolic ( concave or convex) motion of the end effector and the relationship to the actual numbers in the Arduino Firmware. When we increase the number, I understand w...

Thanks for your example it helped clear up the process for me. I may not have multi extruder yet but I may have a reason to opt for one.

Thanks

Dual Material STL Workflow

There is a great deal of talk about multi extruder setups on the forum- and it involves using STL's that represent multi materials. Now I am a decent modeler (using Rhino as well as MAX) but how do I produce a multi material STL part? Is there anyone who done it from scratch on the forum here and ca...

Re: E3D V4 All metal hotend

Ok, I want to go on record and clear up ANY concerns folks may have about the E3D's ability to print PLA. There may have been issues with version 4 but I can unequivocally state that version 5 is the best hot end I've used (and I've tried 6) and after at least 100 hours of nearly continuous printin...

In configuration.h you should see the following lines, changing them to the opposite value will change the direction. (E0 is extruder)
#define INVERT_X_DIR true
#define INVERT_Y_DIR true
#define INVERT_Z_DIR true
#define INVERT_E0_DIR true
OK I found it

Re: Thermister terminal problem - HELP!!

You may have a long wait. I personally feel that if finances can afford it you should have a backup Rambo card. Send the old one to Ultimachine for repair. The 32 bit will be awhile, especially when you consider that a lot of the software will need to be redone to be compatible. If you are willing ...

Re: Thermistor terminal short - HELP!!!

Interesting, I have a similar issue tuning my Onyx powered at 24V but never the hot end. Did you try tuning at say 180°C and see what happens? Perhaps the initial PID values are so far off that the temp overshoots significantly. When you run the M303, do you watch the temp display (either on the LC...

Re: Thermistor terminal short - HELP!!!

I thought I posted this morning - I've been having odd problems in the last few weeks where I write a reply, post and then nothing shows up. Basically, I said that I had this problem and tell how to remap pins.h in my build thread. Go to the thread and search for pins.h in the Search Thread box at ...
