Does MatterSlice have an option for printing a solid layer every so many layers like Slic3r has?

Extreme Retracts!
MatterSlice has been great for me, but recently on the last 2 prints it has been generating some EXTREME RETRACTS. On the first print, it was doing some extremely fast retracts, like as fast as the stepper motor can turn and by a distance of at least 80mm! The 2nd print with a completely different S...

Re: Heated bed cannot reach temp
ZionPhil, I really hope you didn't solder the ends of the wires that go into the RAMBo. If so, please undo that. You'll melt the connector on the RAMBo eventually. (The surfaces of the terminal block "squish" the wire, increasing the surface contact - when you put a soldered wire in there...

Re: Bowden Tube Failure
Well. I got about 15 minutes into trying that print again with my fancy-dancy patch up job... but alas... it too failed. 20140312_205924.jpg 20140312_212823.jpg Maybe I am experiencing jamming. Glue didn't stick to either the tubing or the plastic in the fitting. Kapton broke and it snapped the ABS...
