Re: My Rostock v3 Max Modding/Upgrade Adventure
I have had way better luck with calibration with the Duet and FSR than with the Rambo and accelerometers. Then again a more advanced calibration can be run on the duet. In Addition the Duet is so much quieter than the Rambo, if you are into that sort of thing, as well as a very nice web control and ...

Nicely done, I will probably end up doing something like this next time it comes down for service.

Do you have combing turned on? What other temperature profiles have you tried?

Re: Temperatures read "Def"
It held solid temps for 30 minutes, and was able to perform a 3 hour print without issues. We will see when this def issue returns.

Re: Temperatures read "Def"
5 to 10 layers is not long, can you heat the bad and the hot end and both get to and hold temp properly when not doing a print? If not then look at the power supply, is my guess. That is a good idea, I will give it a try and see if I am able to. I may look into rebuilding my whip and see if that ma...

Re: Temperatures read "Def"
I started having this issue also. Starting up the printer and all temps read around 25-26, I start the print and about maybe 5-10 layers the temps go to def and keeps printing. I press the reset and def goes away and temps go back. I did re-seat my connector and was able to do a few 8 hour prints, b...

Re: Filament Jam E3Dv6
I kind of did all the things, bad form I know. Increased temps to 200, retraction down to 2.5, min travel before retraction to 1.5, and turned off infill on the model. I got a successful print again, so atleast on this dungeon terrain it works out for solid pieces.

Re: Filament Jam E3Dv6
I think it may have more retraction because of the infill, I'll have to pay more attention this time. That's for the tips I will try to that and see what happens.

Re: Filament Jam E3Dv6
190 extrusion temperature. Retraction speed is at 30mm/s. Thanks I will try these settings and see. Not sure why I started having issues all of sudden? Should I increase temps also or keep those the same and only adjust retraction? The scientific side of my wants to only adjust one variable, but get...

Filament Jam E3Dv6
I have been fighting a jam, as of now leaning towards retractions causing a problem. They were at 4mm and had no issues with previous spool of white hatchbox pla. Now halfway through hatchbox silver pla I am getting clog in the same part of my print. Can you tell by this piece I pulled out what's go...

Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts
Mine works just like the standard fan, but I have a V3 with a eSwitch board. Not sure why it wouldn't turn off of it turns on. Sorry I don't have any other help.

Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts
Has anyone tried this mount option yet? I am having a hard time figuring out how it will mount. http://repables.com/r/722/ It's designed not so much for the 713 effector, as for the 713 hotend mount. It goes above the lock ring, and one side is notched to go over the strain relief. It probably woul...

Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts
I Have the BerdAir Max and the eSwitch kit. Hooking it up to the Layer fan (Orange wire) on the Rambo, this should be treated as a LOW level trigger correct? Also should I just use the AUX 5v power for this 5v connection? I wanted to have a Raspberry at some point and I am not sure how this would in...
