Re: Rostock Max v3 only Duet upgrade?
Which one is the smart effector? I've got the stock RMax v3 extruder with the accelerometer probe. Should I buy a complete SE300 or could it be done cheaper?

Rostock Max v3 only Duet upgrade?
Hello everyone! After two years of my RMax v3 being in storage I saw the duet 2 wifi boards are really cheap now. I was wondering, is it possible to only upgrade the board while mantaining everything else? I want to take advantage of the higher processing power the Duet 2 offers compared to Rambo. I...

Re: oozing / stringing trouble RmaxV3+E3Dv6
Hi guys, I'm getting absolutely no stringing with a Retraction Distance of 2,5mm and a Retraction Speed of 20mm/s . But now I have a different problem that I think is related but have no idea on which setting to start touching: [img]https://s...

oozing / stringing trouble RmaxV3+E3Dv6
Hi guys, I'm having lots of oozing / stringing after upgrading to a E3D v6 hotend. I'm only printing Createbot PLA. I use Cura with this settings: Going from 2.5mm retraction distance to 3mm seems to make no difference at all. I'm afraid of c...

Re: What is your experience with the HE280 hotend?
My experience was great for the first two or three months until I decided to switch to a smaller nozzle made by a third party. Then the nightmare begun and I didn't have too much time to solve the under extrusion problems so I just gave up and switched to a E3D v6 using the accelerometer probe. Its ...

Re: How-to: Dimensional Accuracy Calibration for Delta Printers
Hi guys. I've found out that my printer's scaling error is 0.99. My current arm length is 298.24 so I need to change it to 295.26. If I change this value on my Rostock Max v3: what calibration method should I do after? What if I dont do it? I'm a bit lost with the whole calibration after changing ar...

My efector is made from PLA. I never go higher than 225º and it never melts or deforms.

Power supply - Heat bed cable melted
Hi guys so last night I smelled somthing odd and wisely decided to stop the print and power off my Rostock Max v3. After the inicial investigation I found this: Possible cause? How to fix? How to avoid this happening again? When I b...

Re: Heated bed erratic behaviour
Well it appears that fastening the screws that hold the heated bed cables solved the issue.

Re: Auto bed leveling not working properly R Max v3
Sounds like you need to lower your max Z length and increase your horizontal radius. You can crack open the eeprom and manually mess with these values if you want, or they're buried in the lcd menu if you want to position the head and turn the dial until it looks about right. Yep I am looking for s...

Re: Heated bed erratic behaviour
Are you using the controls to set the bed temp and not starting a print? Mine does that also. I think there's a timer that turns the bed heat off a certain time after no printing. This happens during a print and also when heating up without printing. I'll get a voltimeter and test the electricity t...

Heated bed erratic behaviour
So the heated bed on my Rostock Max v3 is not working as it should. When I start the machine and choose 60 for the bed it starts warming up all right and once it gets to 60 it stays tehre for some time maybe ten minutes but then it goes off and the temperature starts to go down. So now the bed is no...

Auto bed leveling not working properly R Max v3
Hi guys so I switched to a E3D v6 hotend and now the automatic bed leveling with the delta calibration wizard is not working like it used to. The nozzle ends up too close to the glass at the center and the machine has a really hard time extruding and the oposite happens towards the end of the circle...

Hi. Thank you for the files. I am succesfully using them on Cura. I just changed the file name and id inside so it doesn't replace the kossel mini and it works fine!
Couldn't find files like yours for the Rostock Max v3 but theese work ok.

Re: i2c error accelerometer failed to initialise
Did you check the conection at the hot end? The conections at the Pluggable 8 position Push-In Wire Terminal Plug may be loose, happened to me with the accelerometer probe and was solved disconecting the Terminal Plug from the hotend and pushing the cables in.

Hi guys. Any luck using (latest) Cura with the Rostock Max v3? Finished assembly a couple of days ago and got the printer to print fine with gcode generated with Matter Control. I got the setting files for importing with cura at the SeeMeCNCs GitHub but the problem is the machine settings, there are...
