Re: Need Help | Print Messing Up
I would suspect a corrupt model. Run it through netfab. How does it look in the slicer preview? The slicer may perceive that part of the module as an area that needs bridging so it speed up. It looks good. This problem also happened when Inwas printing the eiffel tower and Inwas only on the 15th la...

Re: No filament during print
Maybe your bed clamps are causing multiple warps, do you have 3 or 6 clamps holding them down? Use 3 (every other clamp) and make sure it's not forcing the glass to warp (just snug so there is no noticeable pushing down on the glass and the glass doesn't slide around) and then recalibrate. Also, wh...

Re: No filament during print
Editing the Z height worked partially. I print fine further back towards the build plate and in the center but when the print comes towards me it axis starts pushing against the bed again causing the filament to grind and have shavings on the gear. This all happens after I run the calib script..

Re: No filament during print
Agree with djarmag, the nozzle is probably too close on the first layer. Adding to the first layer height won't help, it will be massively overextruded. You need to tell the printer that it doesn't quite have as much Z max height as it thinks it does. You can do this by decreasing Z max length, or ...

Would this LCD screen work?
I am currently building an enclosure and would like to use a new LCD screen to put on the outside of my box. Would this LCD screen work and if so would I have to do anything different in order to get it to work?

Re: No filament during print
You might be too close to the build platform. Is the problem happening as it is placing the very first layer? If you cannot see a slight gap between the nozzle and the platform then your filament has no where to go and your extruder will grind because the nozzle is blocked. Try checking your platfo...

No filament during print
I am having an issue where no filament is coming out during a print. I have .1mm layer using PLA. The weird thing is, it's not coming out of the hotend but the PLA is moving down into the hotend as I can see from the extruder. I made sure my bowden tube was fully seated multiple times and it's still...

Building an enclosure
So I am about to get ready and build an enclosure. I am looking for any ideas that people may have to benefit me from building this. I am going to add a fire suppression kit for fire hazards but other than that, what else?!

Re: SeeMeCNC in a real store!
Saw they have the Eris at Micro Center in Cincinnati yesterday. Pretty cool! It wasn't actively printing, but you could still see the perimeter ring from something on the build plate. Did you happen to see how much they were selling it for? That would be interesting to see, see how much more they a...

V4 anytime soon?!
The v3 was a great design, GREAT design. I am 17 years old and it as my first build was awesome. From the V1 to the V3 a lot of course has changed. I can't imagine what will be done for the V4, but that arises my question. Any ETA for a V4?

Will insurance cover a home fire?
Hello guys I was wondering, if a rostock caught in flames while one was not home and let's say burnt the house down. Would the state insurance or any insurance at all that anyone has, pay for it?? I have been reading articles from users on other forums saying insurance would not pay for a fire cause...

Thank you, I will look into that! Also, one more thing.. I forgot to mention that the tip of my nozzle is a little bit black as if it was burnt? How could that be?

Re: Best Slicing Profiles for a V3?
Guys I ran into another problem! Heres what is going on. I can extrude just fine when I'm in the home position, but when I go to start a print (test cube) the motor for the extruder is spinning but its not pulling the PLA. Also, the motor ticks twice then stops and the ticking goes away but no filam...

Re: Best Slicing Profiles for a V3?
Thank you guys for the quick responses! I am looking for a Cura profile that is universal really.. I am going to use ABS.
