XY dimensions are incorrect

Is there a way to calibrate the XY dimensions?
Cura shows the correct dimensions but the print comes out shorter in both x and y directions.
Any ideas?

static ip address

I have to go into another room to see what ip address Artemis received.

Re: Artemis 300 whiskers

I'm printing with PLA from SeeMeCNC item #50146.
Here are the pertinent Cura 4.3 settings.
Right click on the image and "open link in a new tab" then click on the image.

Artemis 300 whiskers

I have been getting whiskers in some of my prints. I am using Cura 4.3 but got them on 4.2x also. This photo shows a print that just goes around the edges with 100% fill so I would not expect the extruder to need to move across the print. I'm sure it is some setting in Cura, but I don't have a clue....

Re: Artemis 300 RTP

You are right about the code. There is an M84 near the end of the listing. This wasn't an issue with my other Artemis. Editing it out fixes the problem, but if I forget I get a ruined print. The 300's steppers don't seem to have enough holding power to keep the head homed after cutting power to the ...

Artemis 300 RTP

I'm concerned about an issue that surfaced on my Artemis 300 right after I updated my Cura to 4.2.1 After every print job the extruder sags down and jams its hotend into the finished print. Also, when I power off the printer the extruder sags down to the bed. My other Artemis doesn't do that. Is thi...

Re: HEATER 1 Fault

I am not satisfied with wiggling wires to make it work for a while. I am making large prints that each use up $20 of filament. I have to start each print with a full roll so an aborted print is not just a waste of my time. The heater connector looks under rated for the current it carries. I am think...

HEATER 1 Fault

Artemis was printing away (using PETG) at 250 degrees when the hotend temperature plot went through very rapid plus and minus 30 degree swings and then threw a "Heater 1 Fault" and shut down the heater. I cycled the power on Artemis and restarted my print with no faults. Now I worry that i...

Artemis Browser Interface

I could not find a place in the forum specifically for software change requests, so I hope this a good place to put this thread. I have what I feel is an important request. Please add the file date to the information shown in the G-Code file listing. I am never certain that I have the latest G-Code ...

wepollock, Most Excellent, Thanks. Your macro was a big help. I got down to -.35. Now my G0Z0 comes out perfect! So in the Configuration Guide Step Five where is says "If it's too loose, run the following GCode: "G31 P500 X0 Y0 Z-0.25"" I believe it should say "If it is too ...

First Probe

I have moved on to the First Probe. After calibration I did a GoZo with a piece of printer paper on the bed. The tip comes down slowly and then there is a "tink" as it stops. The paper is held so tightly that it tears when moved. So I ran another First Probe and then another. The tip still...

Re: No joy with browser connection -Solved now!

Well I unmounted the controller and removed the SD chip and looked at it on my PC. Everything looked OK far as I could tell. I remounted the controller and inserted the SD chip. BAM! The web page loaded first try. So I guess the SD chip was not inserted to its satisfaction, but re-inserting it made ...

Re: No joy with browser connection

I shut down Artemis and still got a reply from pinging 10.0.0.232 so it looks like a DHCP issue. However, I don't know which machine is using 10.0.0.232 so I can't change it on that end. Is there a way to set a static IP address on Artemis? Also, where can I find all of these mysterious M codes you ...

No joy with browser connection

I just plugged in my RTP Artemis and went through the Configuring Artemis procedure. Wifi enables fine.
