Here is an update after working to get the x/y/z values as close to 0. This is the same file I had printed earlier that had the low spot between the x and z axis.

Attached are the current values in my EEPROM before trying to get all 3 close to 0.

Hmm, this is interesting. I will have to check and see what my values are and try to get them as close to 0 and see what the results are.

The good thing is, at least for what I am printing, it hasn't had a negative effect.

After setting it to 0 it is working much better. Just have a spot between the x and z axis that is too close to the bed.

Just wanted to add in, I am seeing a similar issue on my v2 with the he280 installed. I am getting an extremely thin first layer between the z and x axis.

I think I figured out the issue. The Simplify3D profile I was using had a z-offset set to -0.15mm, and was causing the nozzle to be too close to the bed. Testing it now without the z-offset.

I have a Rostock v2 with the HE280 upgrade and after running the calibration the first layer is so squished nothing is extruding. Is there a way to adjust the calibrated height the autocalibration sets?

I am seeing an issue on my prints in some places that almost seems like over-extrusion. Sorry I am using the HE280 hotend, and that may explain some of the issues I have had with it.

Do these lower retraction settings work well for PLA as well? I know before the upgrade the default in S3D was around 8mm.

My upgraded V2 with the HE280 doest the same. I think that is normal now with the new wiring.
