I know this is an old thread. Quick question are you able to have the print files on an SD that's inserted in the the Fire Tablet?

Re: It's been a long time, need a little direction
Ok slowly finding my way around again. Found the RepRapFirmware Configuration Tool.
Can anyone link me to the entries used for a Max V2?
Still searching here, no luck so far. Sorry it's been almost 10 months and just cant find any of the old info I had and I feel like I'm starting over.
Thanks

It's been a long time, need a little direction
So My son and I had to take a break away from his printer- Max V2 We have upgraded it to a Duet Wifi. Well, I was a dumb... and while trying to upgrade to a new firmware I deleted everything on the SD card. I've been searching for a while now. I remember someone had posted a really good guide that i...

Just a suggestion, what ever you do for you do to make mounting your Duet, you may want to offer as an option.
Maybe I'm wrong, but anyone that's going to be spending the money on this kit, I doubt will have a stock V2 at this point.

Re: Print Bed Material
I have some 1mm PC laying around for my enclosure, but I will need to finnisch that first. I I have a big enough leftover I wil try it. It would be nice if it works great, because PEI is a lot harder to get, and way more expensive. On the other hand I cannot imagine that is has not been tried by ma...

Re: Print Bed Material
Not yet, will report back after I try ABS. We don't have any PLA, but the person that posted this said he had no problems with any of the material he tried. If I'm remember the list covered the typical filament types. That's why I was willing to try. My son plays around and prints a lot of short pri...

Print Bed Material
I thought I would share the start of this. On the Duet forums someone mentioned printing on polycarbonate without needing heat. So I ordered: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GQHA6UE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Cut it to shape and sanded the top surface. Here is a pic of the ...

Re: PEI Print Surface How To - recap
If you're responding to me I was talking about the installation.
The separate adhesive is a PAI to work with. The PEI is great. I tried Printbite since we were using an IR sensor.
That was a royal to get things to stick- huge waste of money and time.

Re: PEI Print Surface How To - recap
Just as an FYI since this was brought back up. I know people didn't like the CSHyde material because of the thickness. I tried the Amazon stuff- even with all my experience doing similar things, it didn't come out well. Got a quote from CSHyde for thicker material. Little more than the Amazon stuff ...

Re: SIMPLE CONNECTOR FOR HOTEND WIRING COMING SOON
It looks really nice and I was planning on getting one, but it needs one more pair for me. We need all the connections it currently has plus one for a IR probe. Mentioned above in the text (There is also a 2nd connection that breaks out the 3 wires from the Harness if not using the accelerometer bo...

Settings
I could us a little direction in eliminating the little blobs at the start/end of each line. This is the 10th iteration and the best one so far, but the tries after this have only gotten worse, so I'm at a loss for which setting would correct the issue. I'd tried another print that had a lot of move...

I am a backer of your new system and have a Max V3 on order, can't wait to play! So did I, also sent an Email trying to push for a new Heat Sink. Instead of having both sides flat, adding the curve back to the side opposite the fan and having a cut out for a thermal fuse for safety like the new sto...

In addition: it basically looks like while it's moving from probe point to probe point it's some times too low and the probe is already triggered when it gets to the probe point. Googling I couldn't find anything, but I've been trying to figure out how to change the height while moving in between po...
