Re: I'm currentlyy building a Metal Max from Trick Laser and I could use some suggestions.
Hi Brian! Thanks for the reply, I don't have access to a machine shop (unless you count Mhackney as that haha) to make those sweet metal brackets, but I should just 3d print something similar and that should work for me. I also have a regular Titan extruder I am currently using on my Kossel, that ma...

I'm currentlyy building a Metal Max from Trick Laser and I could use some suggestions.
Good day everyone. I attended MRRF a couple weekends ago and I purchased a bunch of parts from Brian over at Trick Laser and I must say the quality is amazing. I'm currently building a Metal Max complete with all the fixings from Brian, and I am nearly complete but I hit a snag and I am seeking help...

Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts
Jasper, Your site shows the Berd Air kit out of stock, but it shows stock on the pumps and tubes. I would like to order one kit for the Eris, one extra pump to replace the one on my Max and two PMW kits. How or when can I place such an order? I should be getting more pumps in shortly, If you want I...

Re: It's nothing too fancy, but here is my Rostock Max V2.
Never ending process... My Rostock Max V2 has been through a bit too :) I am currently fitting the new HE print head.. I was going to go that route, might have been around the same cost but I'm happy with what I have. Video of it in motion coming soon! Isn't it always. As far as the fan on the v6 g...

It's nothing too fancy, but here is my Rostock Max V2.
Built a White V2 Rostock Max, and it's been great. I've broken a couple things, and learned a bunch since the start but where I am at now I couldn't be any happier. It started off as an early V2, so I upgraded the arms and the skates, then I went to an e3dv6 hot end with a 713 maker mount. I bought ...

Re: FSR on RoMax2 using Rambo and Repetier
The video is in the link I sent you to the Repetier firmware site last night. It does not matter what type of probe you are using so FSRs look exactly like a simple switch from the firmware's perspective. In fact, that is one of the primary features that little JohnSL board provides, it takes the r...

I should also note, I Did watch this video here
https://youtu.be/L9URtv2LqKc
and it seems easy to follow, but I have no idea if thats the same using FSR's as it is with his switch.

FSR on RoMax2 using Rambo and Repetier
So I got the FSR kit from Ultibot (http://www.ultibots.com/fsr-kit/) and I have them all wired up, and installed and hardware wise they seem to work rather well. https://youtu.be/3LP-_4En7u0 Software on the other hand, is where I can't make heads from tails....

Re: I want to install the Accelerometer board on my Romax V2
@ sLpFhaWK an alternative would be FSR leveling. I'm currently using these on ALL my printers and they are easier to install than retrofitting the accelerometer board. I was actually told about the FSR leveling I just wasn't sure how to get it done on the max. Care to show me some photo's and what ...

I want to install the Accelerometer board on my Romax V2
Hello fellow owners. I have a v2 Rostock and I am having 1 hell of a time calibrating to get prints to stick on the outer edge. I've watched and followed the how to video numerous times and I thought I had it dialed in pretty good, but whenever I try and run a test print using simplify 3d it's fine ...

Re: Rostock Max V2 For Sale
Sorry to hear about the struggles, but just a quick FYI I bought my printer used and partially assembled, and because of the cost of insurance with ups ground shipping the seller had to pay over $300 to ship it. Just food for thought, if you can sell it locally that may be better for you.

Re: About to throw this thing out the window.
Mattercontrol imo is a pretty shitty slicer. I use Simplify 3d as mine for my romax v2 and i have wonderful results. If the fiance wasn't sleeping for work I'd print this calibration print just to see how dialed in my settings are, but if you don't wish to spend $150 for a slicer I wouldn't blame yo...

If you're using simplify3d, set the Extrusion width to Manual with the value of your nozzle diameter. You might want to print a few hollow cubes to measure and adjust your extrusion values. Appears to be under extruding, like Eaglezsoar said. Oh it's been set to manual. I learned that months ago on...

Murphy is a sumbitch when it comes to r/c cars. no matter what you have extra he finds a way to break something you don't have and is on back order to get. i hate him. lolMac The Knife wrote:Murphy is pretty good about not breaking something that you have spares for. If you can not wait, and are certain you have resolved the issue that blew your fuse, here is a link to a solution myself and some other forum members have used in order to hold out until our replacement fuses arrived. link Well I will definitely say, that is a creative way to fix the problem. Would those work? I really don't know which ones are needed. A google search keeps pulling up circle type fuses.

You have to pull it out of the board and test it with a meter, they don't look any different when they are blown. SUCCESS! I tested the F2 Fuse, and the F3 fuse and i googled that if it reads under 1 ohm it's good and the other didn't read at all.. so now the question is where the hell do i get the...

Good day my fellow people. So I ended up going with this, http://catalog.cshyde.com/item/3d-print ... a-3d-12x12 and it's perfect. Same stuff on the MK2 Prusa. I haven't installed it, I'm gonna to do it now I think and 1st print will be tomorrow!!
