Re: Print completed but print head did not home?
Do I only need to remove the M84 or is there something else I need to put in it's place for the print head to actually home?

Print completed but print head did not home?
Print completed successfully and I went to check the printer, the print head was still down. So everything was 100% but apparently the print head just did not home back after finishing the print. As you can see there's just an indent at 0,0 where the head stopp...

Artemis Initial feed on print start?
When starting up a print my artemis goes to the edge of the printing area spools a lot of filament right away making a sort of "mound" of plastic then it drops to print level and this blob usually attaches to the hot end. Where is the setting to disable this large initial "feed" ...

Print missing top ~0.5 inches of printing
Had a 20ish hour print going and left it for the last 6 or so over night. When I got up in the morning it looks like it just gave up with about an hour to go. The print stops dead with about half an inch of model needing to be printed. I exported the console (not sure if that resets per print or wha...

Re: Printing inconsistencies
Did a print with the settings at 1.5mm length, 25mm/s speed, and left Z-lift at .3mm and it came out great, thanks everyone!

Re: Printing inconsistencies
I guess for the record it's PLA/PHA from colorFabbIMBoring25 wrote:Yeah, I, too am shocked that worked as well as it did on PLA (?) with that much retraction on an E3D. I'm using 2 mm at 10 mm/s on mine and it's especially critical to use short retractions with PLA.

Printing inconsistencies
I've got a lot of bugs sorted out and my E3d extruder is in place and working correctly now (yay!), however my first larger print turned out to have some "thinning" of the deposits on the piece. The bottom is solid and the top looks pretty good, ju...

Leaking Hot End, already tightened?
I believe my extruder is leaking, I've tried to tighten the nozzle while at working temperature and it seems like the leak is slower now but still an issue. After tightening I'm still getting burnt PLA that accumulates enough to drip into the work area. What else can I do to try and correct this? [i...

Re: Hot end thermistor failed, getting "def" reading
Cool, thanks for the confirmation. I may update the heaters at some point but those aren't giving me any grief at the moment. Just going to start with the thermistor and get that working again.
Thanks again for the advice!

Re: Hot end thermistor failed, getting "def" reading
Would this be a good replacement for the thermistor? I'm troubled by the lack of clear specifications on things like measurements and part compatibility, though I understand the reasons behind them. http://www.amazon.com/Modular-Thermistor-3D-Extruder-Rigidbot/dp/B00THZJIY8/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&...

Hot end thermistor failed, getting "def" reading
From other threads I decided to check on the thermistor more closely, I think I may have damaged it while trying to tighten the hot end to prevent PLA from leaking around the nozzle. I've seen a few options listed for fixing/upgrading the thermistor but I can't seem to narrow down any "how to&q...
