Re: Next generation Duet

If it's going wifi will the wifi config be available from the due, I change my password regularly and having to plug it direct to the computer everytime would be a pita The current plan is that you will only be able to change passwords by removing the SD card and putting it into a PC. But we're ope...

Re: Duet Mount

Would it be possible to redo the fan plate so that it accepts two fans? As I was fairly disciplined when I created the sketch, so it didn't take long, I have done this. The fans had to go where they are to stay inside the supports and I have placed so they are nearer the head and bed FETs. Be aware...

Re: Duet Mount

I just installed this today, and it fits great. Thanks for the great design. I thought I'd point out that you have to take off the bottom of the printer to remove the melamine bracket feet and install the plastic rails. At least, I couldn't see any other way to do it. I just snapped them off as I c...

Re: Duet with 24V

Personally think 24v is a bit excessive. Todays plan is to hook the bed up to a variable psu and wind it up until the bed equalises at about 130 maybe 140. I reckon this will be about 14 - 15v. It might not warm up as fast as higher voltage but if the driving ssr fails its a built in limiter. I reck...

Re: Temp calibration help

Thanks, I still can't find exactly what I'm looking for, but i think Ive more or less figured it out. Could do with a table instead of 25 resistance and beta, as the beta changes quite considerably across the range. Or, if not a table specify r at a selectable point say 190 and then work out beta ac...

Re: Temp calibration help

Does anyone know the actual maths behind this. Specifically H & L effect and what points they act on.

I cannot find this info anywhere

Re: Protip: Don't forget to adjust your thermistor values

In theory E3D V6 should be the same settings as stock hotend. They have same thermistor according to specs.

Re: Rostock MAX v1 DUET configuration...

I started with your files, thank you.

An interesting note, I have no idea why, but I am using the diff IR probe and the 6 factor calculation threw everything a mile out. I changed it to 7 and it's working beautifully.

Duet Mount

Couldn't find an internal mount so I made this.
Just remove the front Rambo board clips and then it all just clips in, I don't know if it needs the fan but it can't harm.

Re: Some good stuff coming soon!

Hmm, you did precede it with the parameter ID "P" correct? It should look like this: M551 Popensesame Where the password is opensesame This works on all of my Duets, I get a password prompt when I try to access via the Duet Web Control. ermm no P .... I'll get there lol Thank you

I must have missed something. Never saw any way to have login credentials. Atm using remote desktop to a local machine but its a bit of a klutzy solution.

Re: Some good stuff coming soon!

This is good stuff. The whole bosac thing was a pain (i had a wrong version initially) in fact the whole web interface is great work.
Do you know if there is any intention to add a login option so you can access remotely without letting everyone else access your printer.
